TwoNav Aventura requires a especific version different from TwoNav Pocket.

You can find instructions on how to update the software of your TwoNav Aventura clicking here.

Remember to not delete manually any of the files present in the internal memory of TwoNav Aventura, just unzip the dowloaded folder and copy it in the same place of the old one, accepting to overwrite when confirmation is requested.

In download section you can find TwoNav Aventura 2.0.0.3 , which solved two problems of previous version:

Missing files to open ECW.

Wrong reading of track altitude data when altitude source was changed from 'automatic' to 'GPS' or 'barometer'.

Since years ago, TwoNav is compatible with maps in ECW format.

Due to an error, first Aventura units don't include the required files to read this format.

Current units have this problem solved, but if your Aventura doesn't allow to open ECW maps, you just have to add the missing files in your device following next steps:

Connect TwoNav Aventura to the PC with the USB cable. You will see 'local disc' (internal memory of the device) and 'removable disk' (SD card) appear in your system.

Download the file clicking here.

Unzip the content and save it inside 'TwoNav' folder of the 'local disk', where TwoNav_Aventura.exe is also placed.

Disconnect Aventura from the PC and start it normally.

TwoNav 2.0.0.1 and submunicipalities

TwoNav can use information about "submunicipalities" in order to offer a more rich and precise address search.

Submunicipalities are populated clusters which administration depends on a single municipality, even if they are dispersed in space.

For example, 'Monforte de Lemos' municipality is composed by several populated clusters, as Ribasaltas.

When introducing 'Ribasaltas' in a search by address, this cluster will appear in the list, with the municipality it belongs in parenthesis.

An other example of submunicipalities may be the housing develoments, which also appear in V-maps data base.

Important: In order to enjoy this functionality, you should install latest version of TwoNav (2.0.0.1 or higher) and the latest re-edition of Vmap 08q2 or higher.

You can download latest version of TwoNav from download section.

If, having Vmap08q2, you can not use this functionalilty, probably you don't have the latest re-edition of the map. Check your register email and download the map from the same link you already have there.
